teaspoon
chili pepper paste
optional, for heat
Instructions
Combine the ingredients
In a medium bowl, add ketchup, honey, and Worcestershire sauce.
Mix until smooth
Use a whisk to stir until fully combined. If the honey is thick, warm it slightly in the microwave for 10β15 seconds to make blending easier.
Taste and adjust
Want it sweeter? Add a touch more honey. Need more tang? Add extra Worcestershire.
Optional heating
For a warm sauce, transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and heat over low for 2β3 minutes, stirring often.
Serve or store
Use immediately or transfer to an airtight jar and refrigerate.
Notes
This sauce thickens slightly when chilled. Stir before using, and if you prefer it warm, heat gently on the stove or in the microwave.
