Iced Tea Base

–8 cups water

–4 cold brew tea bags
Blueberry Syrup

fresh blueberries
washed

cane sugar or granulated sugar

Instructions
Prepare the tea:
Place cold brew tea bags into a pitcher with 6–8 cups water. Refrigerate for 8–10 hours. Remove bags and chill until needed.
Cook the syrup:
Add blueberries, water, and sugar to a saucepan. Set over medium heat and stir. Cook until berries soften and release juice, about 10 minutes.
Strain:
Pour the cooked mixture through a mesh strainer into a bowl. Press gently to extract liquid. Discard solids.
Finish syrup:
Stir lemon juice into the blueberry syrup. Cool to room temperature.
Assemble:
Add syrup to brewed tea a little at a time, tasting as you go. Stir well and serve over ice.
Kitchen Tip: Start with ½ cup syrup, then adjust. This keeps the drink balanced.
