Method
Preheat the oven
- to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare your surface
- Lightly dust your work area with all-purpose flour to prevent sticking.
Roll the dough
- Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
Cut the strips
- Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to slice the dough into 1-inch wide strips.
Shape the bones
- Take each strip and tie a small knot on both ends to make bone shapes.
Butter it up
- Place the shaped dough on the baking sheet. Brush generously with melted butter using a pastry brush.
Add the cheese
- Sprinkle Parmesan first, then mozzarella evenly over the top.
Bake
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Serve
- Let them cool for 5 minute, then serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
💡 Tip: For extra spooky flair, serve the marinara sauce in a small skull-shaped bowl or drizzle some “bloody” sauce over the breadsticks.
