Instructions

Make the Fruit Topping:

  • Once the mixture thickens slightly, remove from heat and stir in the drained pineapple tidbits. Let it cool to room temperature while you prepare the cream cheese layer.

Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer:

  • In a mixing bowl, use an electric hand mixer (or stand mixer) to beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. This should only take 1-2 minutes on medium speed.

Assemble the Dip:

  • Spread the cream cheese mixture into the bottom of a serving dish, creating an even layer. Then, gently spoon the fruit topping over the cream cheese, ensuring it covers the entire surface.

Chill and Serve:

  • For the best flavor, chill the dip for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve with your favorite dipping options like graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or fresh fruit.
