- Sprinkle a small pinch of salt over the cucumber slices and let them sit for a minute. This helps remove excess moisture.
Spread the cream cheese
- Take your softened cream cheese and spread it evenly over both slices of bread.
Add cucumber slices
- Layer the cucumber slices evenly over one slice of bread.
Season
- Add a light sprinkle of salt and pepper for extra flavor.
Assemble the sandwich
- Place the second slice of bread on top, cream cheese side down.
Slice and serve
- Trim off the crusts (optional), then cut into halves or small squares for a classic tea sandwich look.
