Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 120 g all-purpose flour
  • 60 ml olive oil
  • 240 ml chicken broth
  • 120 ml white wine
  • 30 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 30 g capers drained
  • 30 g unsalted butter
  • Fresh parsley chopped
  • Pasta for serving

Method

Step 1: Prep the Chicken
  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Lightly coat each piece in flour. Shake off extra flour.
Step 2: Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for about 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
  1. In the same pan, pour in white wine and let it simmer for a minute. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers. Let it cook for a few minutes until slightly reduced.
Step 4: Finish the Sauce
  1. Add butter and stir until melted. The sauce will turn smooth and glossy.
Step 5: Combine
  1. Return the chicken to the pan and coat it in the sauce. Let it cook for a couple more minutes.
Step 6: Serve with Pasta
  1. Cook pasta in salted water. Drain and toss lightly with the sauce. Place chicken on top and sprinkle parsley.
My Tip: Don’t overcook the chicken. It stays soft and juicy if you keep an eye on it.

    Notes

✔️ Pound chicken evenly for even cooking
✔️ Use fresh lemon juice for best taste
    ✔️ Don’t skip capers—they add key flavor
✔️ Keep sauce slightly thin so it coats pasta well
