Ingredients
  

Cake Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
Frosting
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened

Method
 

Prepare the Oven
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line three round cake pans.
Mix Dry Ingredients
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add Wet Ingredients
  1. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and lump-free.
Divide the Batter
  1. Split the batter evenly into three bowls:
  2. Leave one as vanilla
  3. Keep one chocolate (already mixed with cocoa)
  4. For strawberry: add a few drops of strawberry extract or puree (optional but recommended)
Bake
  1. Pour each batter into separate pans and bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool Completely
  1. Let cakes cool fully before frosting.
Make the Frosting
  1. Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until fluffy.

  1. Layer the cakes:

  3. Vanilla layer
  4. Strawberry layer
