Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the crust

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and confectioners’ sugar.
  • Add the softened butter and mix until the dough forms a smooth, crumbly texture. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Use a spoon or your hands to make sure it’s even. Bake this crust in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until it’s lightly golden.

Step 2: Prepare the filling

  • While the crust is baking, let’s work on the filling. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar, salt, and flour.
