Method
Make the Sugar Cookies

Make the Royal Icing

- Add warm water gradually until thick and smooth.
- Adjust consistency for outlining or flooding.
- Tint icing using gel food coloring.
Decorate the Cookies
- Outline cookies with thick royal icing.
- Flood the center with thinner icing.
- Use a toothpick to smooth the surface.
- Let cookies dry at room temperature for several hours.
Notes
