Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ stalk celery chopped
  • ¼ cup sweet relish
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Step 1: Boil the Potatoes
  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into bite-sized chunks. Boil them in salted water for about 10–12 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and let them cool.
Step 2: Cook the Eggs
  1. Place the eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, and boil for about 10 minutes. Cool, peel, and chop them into small pieces.
Step 3: Prepare the Dressing
  1. In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, sweet relish, and minced garlic. Stir until smooth and creamy.
Step 4: Combine Everything
  1. Add the cooled potatoes, chopped eggs, and celery into the bowl. Gently mix everything so the potatoes don’t break apart too much.
Step 5: Season
  1. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix again lightly.
Step 6: Chill Before Serving
  1. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. This helps all the flavors come together perfectly.
